percolator potJul 29, 2010 This pot is fabulous. I purchased to take camping but love it so much I use at home instead of my Krupps coffee maker.
I've had good luck with the 9 cup percolatorMay 01, 2010 I bought a 9 cup texsport percolator from dick's about a year ago and actually got rid of my drip coffee maker and use this one instead. I was on here looking for an additional one to keep at my girlfriends house when I saw the reviews, a 5 star and a 1 star. All I can say is the one I have is great, I noticed the aluminum one's look real cheap, but the stainless steel one's look nice.

Poor DesignSep 21, 2009 I bought this for camping and paid pretty good money for it at Bass Pro Shop...maybe a few more bucks than it listed for here. This weekend, I was camping, it was cold and rainy and I was cursing the coffee pot. This morning I came to Amazon looking for a replacement...and thought maybe my fellow campers would appreciate this review.
It's the lid that's the problem. With the peculator in place inside the pot, the lid fits just fine. It rests on top of the peculator. With the perculator removed, the lid falls down inside the pot! This would be annoying enough, but the tiny pin that hinges the lid in place has now slid out of place and I know that in another trip or two, the pin will fall to the forest floor and never be seen again.
Leaving me with a lidless coffee pot. Probably on a cold rainy morning.
Sturdy, well madeAug 23, 2009 We've been using this coffee pot for about 5 years as our camping coffee maker. When our electric drip machine recently broke, we pulled it out of the camping gear and now use it all the time at home. We've found it to be well made, and it always brews a great cup of coffee.

Poorly made, defectiveSep 04, 2007 I bought one of these percolators and it leaked from the spout right out of the box. I replaced it with a "14 cup" (12 actually) Texsport percolator, and that one leaked from the bottom weld the first time we used it. Water leaking through it came out greasy and gray. Beware!
