Have a cup?Jul 06, 2010 It's a good pot. Light in weight yet durable enough. Should get many years use when taken care of. Not good for hard and abusive situations where things get tossed or neglected frequently.

Works, but poorly constructedApr 22, 2010 This coffee pot works o.k. but it is VERY poorly constucted. Be prepared to make some modifications to make it last.
Updated review after camping trip..Apr 01, 2010 I have not used this pot yet, but the items seems to be made pretty well. It is aluminum, but it's not flimsy by any means. I had no problems with taking off and putting the lid back on, and the filter basket and support seems to be make pretty well. The percolator dome is plastic, was hoping for glass, but it should work fine. I can't wait to use it this summer while camping. I'm sure it'll get used before then at home just to try it out.
**Update after camping trip** We took this with us after a 3 day - 2 night camping trip. It was nice to have fresh coffee at the campsite in the morning. The capacity is huge but I only made about 10 cups at a time, enough for my wife and I. The durability of the pot itself, the percolator dome, and the grounds basket is pretty good. If you don't throw anything around or set a heavy cooler full of ice on top of anything, it should last for years. The only thing I am concerned with is the post that sits inside that holds the grounds basket. The connection at the base seems a little flimsy. You do have to watch this. I would imagine that if it gets bent out of alignment too often, and then bent back, it will eventually weaken the joint and would possibly break. Other than that, I do like the product. Cleaning is easy. I've used it several times on our trip and maybe 5 times at home on an electric stove and it is still shiny and looks new.
Nice coffee potJan 17, 2010 Nice coffee pot for the price. Aluminum is pretty thin and flimsy, but it will get the job done.
