 Lightweight Tent for a great priceJul 18, 2010
I took this to the Grand Canyon and it poured rain the second day and I was very dry inside, very nice tent and setup is easy that one person can get the job done. The sleeping space isn't that spacious for two, unless you don't mined being close to your partner.I'm 5'8" 237LBS athletic build just a good 5" away from my partner's sleeping bag and no room for gear inside. This tent is really good for 1 person and gear inside or pet. I love this tent, I don't mined the close quarter sleep space. I have yet to see this tent against windy situation so I cannot comment on that part.

it is totally a tent. it's a little small but that is why i bought it. i'm a little small and so it really is perfect for me. i camp alone except when i camp with somebody else. most of the time my camping partner is smaller than me but by the time that he is big enough to be a bother, he'll have a tent of his own. still, it's a pretty good tent.

Worked Well in the Rain!May 10, 2010
I just got this last week and used it this weekend in Sulphur, OK. It downpoured on me the 2nd night and I did not use a foot print/tarp underneath. I stayed dry as a bone as did all the tent walls (I had the rain fly on and staked out as you are supposed to). I tried to take a nap at 3p in ~75F with a breeze, but it was too hot in the tent with the fly tied open. Perhaps if I removed the fly, it would have been cooler and bearable. Instead I dragged my pad and bag outside and in the shade for my nap. The size was plenty big for me (I'm 5'6"), my 55 pound cattle dog mutt and my full size backpack. If you had two people and full backpack gear, one bag would fit in vestiblue (its fairly small). If you are car camping, two can fit (hopefully it is your significant other, close friend or family member - you'll be quite close) and throw your gear in the car. I bought this for backpacking for one as well, but have yet to use it for that purpose. Overall, is a great tent for the $$ and was soooo easy to set up (I didnt read the directions but have set up many tents).

Just bought this tent and its awsome, it took me all of 5 mins to setup the first time.It would fit 2 people however I think it makes for a better 1 person tent, and allows one person to be very comfortable and store some gear.Altogether im very pleased with this tent and would recommend it to anyone, Kelty's quality is always awsome and this product is no exception.
