Just what I was expectingFeb 15, 2010
I use them as utensils because they don't scratch the non-stick cookware.In addition I have an aluminum and steel Fork, spoon and knife sets that I use , some times the steel and others the aluminum one.
Very light and convenient the way they snap together

This Guyot Design Microbite set is a light weight but very strong utensil set. I used them on my first backpacking trip and they work great. At first, I was worried that they would melt while dealing with extremely hot food or not grab food well (my experience with sporks are not very pleasant. Also, didn't use the spatula/knife so I don't know how it will perform for flipping task[like meat]). However, these utensils removed any doubt I had about them (ran them through the dishwasher and they came out fine).
