EXPENSIVE???Aug 20, 2010 So i don't exactly own this item right now but i used to have the same thing. Great little pillow. But i think there is mistake on the website. It says that it cost $94??? That can't be right for such a little tiny pillow. unless it is wrapped in gold! Amazon, please check your prices and make sure they are correct!
Flexible and great for the costMay 19, 2010 I did not purchase this item via Amazon rather at a familiar world dominating local superstore for about half the price above. That said my expectations were pretty low, but after trying blow up inflatable pillows I knew I needed something.
On past camping trips I would simply take a pillow case, jam clothes, stuff stacks and gear into it to make a pillow. I have also tried blow up pillows which were terrible for me.
I saw this pillow at the store and thought I would give it a try. It has a nice think foam bottom with the rest of the fill on top. This helped keep the pillow stable and warm on the ground. The pillow case can be removed and washed. I highly recommend doing this before taking the pillow into the field.
Anyway, I used it on the last trip and it was great. If you need more pillow support, take the extra pillow case and jam your crap in it, and then place the Coleman pillow on top. It can work in lots of ways for lots of people. Last night I even went and bought a second one for my son to use too.
My only complaint is that is does not compact really well. However, if you are creative with your packing you should be able to take it on a hike, giving you a little bit of comfort after your day's trek.
A little bit of comfort for the trail!Apr 29, 2010 While not the most supportive pillow, this little item is nevertheless quite useful. It may be a bit big for true backpacking use, but is great for camping that doesn't depend on "many miles to go before U sleep" For some of us it might be worth making the space for - I sleep much better anywhere with a familiar pillow :) When on sale at Amazon it is a worthwhile addition to your camping gear.
Camping PillowApr 06, 2010 For a camping pillow, I like it. I also like the fold up feature. Makes it compact for traveling.

Pretty Nice PillowFeb 26, 2010 I bought two of these pillows for a cub scout camping trip my son and I were going on. I wasnt sure how great they would be since they were very reasonable priced but I thought I would give them a try. I was very impressed. They fold up nicely and fit into many small places or when you dont have alot of room in your duffel bag. It was much better than not having any pillow at all however due to the nature of being a folding, camp pillow it is a little on the thin side, however if you fold it in half it works just fine. I dont plan on ever going camping without my new camping pillow ever again.
